Akashic Records

A concept that you might hear about on the Internet, in social media, on youtube videos or on blogs, the Akashic Records are an energetic "library" that contains a record of every thought, word, deed, emotion, action, and event from every soul  in the universe.

The records represent the collective consciousness, memories, and chronicle of every soul and event that has transpired. The amount of information in these records is believed to be complete and infinite. The Akashic Records are a place where anyone can access the wisdom of the universe.

For those seeking greater insight into their own personal purpose or the purpose of this incarnation on earth, there’s valuable information in these records. By accessing your own records of past lives or records between lives, you might learn of your soul’s journey including the barriers, trauma and pain but also learn about the achievements, contributions and goals.

Personal records

Each soul has a personal akashic record room where you can explore not only past lives  but those of your soul family’s past lives too. Your soul family is composed of those around you including your parents, spouse, children, extended family members, and friends.

If you have an innate ability to access these records without training or guidance, then you’ll be able to learn about the souls who are around you in your everyday life by consulting with the Akashic Records.

You might seek information about your soul family which could help you to better understand your present role. To borrow an analogy from literature, sometimes we're the main character in a play and sometimes we’re the supporting character in the play. And, most likely, we’re here on earth in this incarnation to do both. We’re here to help our soul family evolve and learn and we’re also here for our own personal evolution, learning and ascension.

Accessing the records through a reader

If you don’t have an innate ability to access the Akashic Records, you can learn to access them or you can use an Akashic Records’ reader to help you understand your own records.

Learning to read your own Akashic Records

At the core of reading the Akashic Records is your ability to raise your vibration. The Akashic Records stores information at different vibrational levels which corresponds to the vibration that is accessing it.

If enlightened thoughts access the records, the corresponding enlightened information becomes available through the records.

When you’re trying to access the records, you’ll see something different than others because the information that becomes available to you matches your vibrational frequency.

There are a number of courses and instructors on how to access the Akashic Records but I’m not going to focus on those in this article. I’m going to focus on how you might learn to access your own records.

Akashic Records opening prayer

If you’ve reached a level of mastery in meditation where you’re able to hear and receive information from the spirit world, you’ll also be able to access the Akashic Records.

When you enter a meditative state, you can use a portal prayer to enter the records. I’m borrowing the prayer from Josephine Hardman. (She also offers a course on how to access the Akashic Records), 

Prayer

I ask Source or the Universe to surround me in a circle of white light. May I be joined in my intention to expand my soul. To remember who I am and why I am here as it is written in the Akashic Records. I ask the lords, masters, teachers, and loved ones of the records to allow me to open and read the records of me for this purpose. I ask in gratitude to the Lord of the Records and in the holiest of holy. Amen or so it is.

Akashic Records closing prayer

It's important to close your journey through the records with a closing prayer.

I thank the record keepers for all the information, wisdom and healings provided to me in this reading.

May everything I have received continue to help me for as long as it’s needed.
