Everything is here and now

Popular in esoteric spiritualism is the concept that everything is here and now. The core idea is that as souls, we are present now and that linear progression or linear timelines really don’t exist. The progression of time is a 3D concept and part of our earthly experience as humans.

 

We, as souls, may progress through many incarnations to learn lessons and evolve but our state of consciousness is our true nature and our true home and is always present and accessible in the here and now.

As a fundamental principle, it’s useful to understand that our souls don’t experience the universe the way a human experiences time on earth. The idea that here is always “here” and now is always “now” can help a human to shift his or her focus from ruminating on the past or waiting for the future and to focus on the present.

When we focus on the present, we can find peace and joy. We can also maximize our current incarnation if we learn to live (and act) in the here and now.
