Giving away your power

You may not realize it, but you can give away your personal power without even realizing it.

You do it when you place someone above yourself, question your worth, compare yourself to others, or try to control someone else's behaviour.

When you put someone on a pedestal, you're giving away your power

When you revere someone or believe they're better than you, you give them your power. You’re signalling to the universe that you’re not worthy and not deserving.

When you believe you're not good enough, you're giving away your power

When you tell yourself you're not smart enough, attractive enough, or successful enough, you’re giving away your power.

You start seeing yourself through your perceived shortcomings rather than your actual abilities, and how you see yourself shapes how the universe sees you.

You don't have to prove your value. You’re a loving soul, valuable exactly as you are.

When you feel jealous, you're giving away your power

Jealousy often arises when you believe someone else has something you lack. Their success makes you question your own. Their happiness makes you question yours.

Instead of focusing on your life, you give your emotional energy to someone else.

Remember, someone else's success doesn't diminish your value. In fact, someone else’s life is not your path.  You’re unique and your purpose on earth is unique. Listen to your inner passion and find your life's purpose.

When you try to control someone, you're giving away your power

Trying to control another person often comes from fear and a misunderstanding of your own power.
