The crazy stuff that happens all at once

On Thursday, February 5, I had a job interview. By Friday, February 6, I was terminated early from a contract. The stuff that happens to me is sometimes truly unbelievable.
And that wasn’t all. Two other major events happened in the same 24-hour window: I received a letter from my mother’s estate lawyer about a counteroffer from my sister—completely unrealistic, by the way—and, while I was processing the termination, my belongings arrived at my future home in Europe.

It was a lot. So, I turned to astrology to help make sense of it.
This reflection is based on my birthday, June 2.
Feb 5 — Mercury square Uranus
Mercury (mind, communication) in Aquarius was forming a square (90° tension) with Uranus (sudden change) in Taurus.
This transit is associated with:
Unexpected news or information
Sudden changes to plans
Emotional startle responses
Rethinking what you assume is stable
For a Gemini Sun, this transit often “pushes people to rethink foundational beliefs and future direction.”
In plain language: Feb 5 was wired, surprising, and cognitively jolting. It’s exactly the pattern that shows up when something structural—like work status—is abruptly disrupted.
"My life was chaotic and exhausting. I built this custom workbook to map out the exact spiritual tools I used to reclaim my sanity. You can download the complete $12 framework here."
This wasn’t mild tension; it was a direct hit to the nervous system.
Feb 6 — Mercury shifts into Pisces
The next day, Mercury moved from Aquarius into Pisces. This isn’t just a change in degrees—it’s a shift in mental operating mode:
Aquarius Mercury = analytical, detached, fast, factual Pisces Mercury = intuitive, emotional, non-linear, symbolic
This shift means: Thinking softens. Emotional processing intensifies. Logic gives way to feeling and intuition. Communication feels deeper or fuzzier rather than direct.
After a shock like Feb 5, this transit is your system moving from: “Figure out what happened”to “Feel into what it means.” Feb 5 was shock. Feb 6 was the body realizing the shock happened.
Larger context: First week of February 2026
Uranus turned direct just days earlier (Feb 3), releasing delays and activating sudden change.
Saturn still at 29° Pisces, the final degree of its cycle, marking culmination, closure, and structural testing.
A Full Moon occurred (Feb 1), amplifying emotional clarity and endings.
Transit | Energy | Effect | How I felt |
Feb 5: Mercury square Uranus | Disruptive, sudden, high-alert | Shock, unexpected info, abrupt change | Termination news without warning |
Feb 6: Mercury enters Pisces | Intuitive, emotional, reflective | Mental softening, feelings become symbolic | Numbness, emotional digestion |
I’ve had days like this before—so much happening all at once—but I never looked to astrology to make sense of it.
While astrology doesn’t predict exact events, it offers insight into why things happen, which is surprisingly grounding.
Meditation insight on stuff that happens
When I meditated on these events, this is what I heard:
You had three events from your old life and one from your new. A chapter is closing, and you’re moving on.
Exploring my astrology for this year and next shows that this stage of life is intended to close.
What will 2026–2028 look like?
Here’s the shift:
Saturn dominance fades mid–late 2026
Pluto leaves your pressure zone
Long compression arc completes
What replaces it? Lighter energy:
Jupiter-style expansion cycles
Travel and foreign land activation
Intellectual and lifestyle freedom
Reduced structural burden
It won’t be euphoric overnight, but it will no longer feel like constant grind + crisis + emergency.
By year:
2026: Transition year—restructure assets, simplify life
2027: Stability rebuild—less pressure, more choices
2028: True expansion—travel, lifestyle alignment, creative exploration
Emotionally, the nervous system doesn’t relax the moment stress ends; it relaxes when safety becomes predictable. That usually takes 12–18 months of stability.
Stress has been a constant in recent years.
I’ve leaned on self-care—meditation, swimming, yoga—and my spiritual practice for strength. I can see the sunshine despite a few bumps ahead.
Astrology complements my spiritual work by helping me understand why things happen. Life path may be documented in the stars.
You can’t always predict what will happen, but you can understand why, which allows you to focus on growth rather than frustration.
Lessons learned
Remove yourself from nonsense
Set boundaries
Don’t tolerate manipulation
Don’t contort to be liked
Trust your survival ability
Value meaning over acquisition
The lesson
Stop outsourcing your worth
Stop contorting for approval
Stop staying where you shrink
Build inner authority
I now operate from internal authority. Would I have developed that if life had been easy? Probably not.
The arc is clear: shock, reflection, closure, and growth. Astrology shows the pattern. Life shows the lessons. And the darkness? Slowly, it’s fading.
