Reincarnation & soul roles
The cycle of a soul’s reincarnation on earth is similar to a role or character that might be in a play, movie or video game.
Much like Shakespeare’s – All the world’s a stage, And all the men and women merely players – souls reincarnate and play roles while on earth. And, just like a play or movie, actors get different roles each time they are cast in a new play or movie.
Alternatively, you might think of a soul as a player in a video game who takes on different roles and uses different tools to get to different levels of the game.
Each time you play the game, you encounter a new scenario and never quite repeat a previous game that you played. You can pick a new character and select the tools that you wish to use during the game.
Souls play different roles over the various reincarnations.
The purpose of the above analogies is to help explain the roles that a soul plays for each of these genres and how the role can change for each new play, movie or video game.
Tasks and lessons
A soul comes to earth in each reincarnation to play a specific role with tasks and lessons to achieve in each lifetime. Our souls form contracts with our soul group and soul family/pod as well as our guides, angels and counsel and together, we embark upon the journey of a new incarnation. And we work with our spiritual team to build a soul plan.
Soul plan and soul family
Much like our human family, the soul family helps us achieve our soul’s plan. Different members of your soul family show up in your life as family – parents, children, relatives – or as friends and colleagues. In one lifetime, you might be a father and in the next a daughter or wife. And the following incarnation, your son might be your best friend or your husband. The roles rotate over many, many reincarnations.
Some souls come to earth while other souls act as your guides and help from across the veil. These spiritual guides are important to each incarnation, as they guide and nudge you towards your soul plan and goals.
When we’re on earth, we play roles for each other. The roles include things like the victim, enabler, persecutor, abuser, abandoner, savior, healer, teacher, betrayer, confidant, and so on. We play these roles for ourselves and for each other so that we learn from them.
New plot for each incarnation
Each new incarnation comes with a new plot and a new set of goals and objectives. You might have a completely different persona from one life to the next or you might be similar from one life to the next. It really depends on what you’ve identified as your spiritual goals.
Working together to grow spiritually, souls love, guide, nurture, protect, and help each other progress. In every incarnation, we take on a role to learn and advance to a higher level of consciousness.
Learning from our decisions
Part of the soul learning while on earth in human form is to make different decisions about how we respond to events. We might encounter a similar event in many lifetimes and our response to the event might be the same in many of our incarnations. As a result, we might come back repeatedly in order to learn a specific lesson. When we learn the lesson, we move on to the next lesson.
If you see patterns in your life, it might be a sign that you have a lesson to learn. The pattern might keep showing up until you choose to learn the lesson.
Alternatively, you might be here to play a role for other souls so you might experience the same type of pattern over and over again because you’ve agreed to play that role for other souls to learn.
