Defining the true self
Understanding how to be your true or genuine self is part of an awakened spiritual journey. If you’re looking to shift from a lower to a higher vibration, letting go of the ego and focusing on the soul or higher self is fundamental to self discovery.
The purpose of discovering who you are – your true nature or inner essence – is at the core of an awakened spiritual experience.
Who am I?
We have two selves. One of our selves is the current human experience that is dominated by your ego. The other self is the higher self that is located in your heart.
The ego lives in the head. You need to shift from the head (the ego) to the heart (your true self) and connect with your inner essence which is loving, joyful and peaceful.
Discover who you are and come to love yourself unconditionally.
It’s important to feel that you’re a part of the greater universe and not separate from everything. When you step into your heart and build a meditation practice, you develop a connection to the universe and you develop an understanding of your true self.
There are a number of different ways to explore through meditation. The goal of our experience or incarnations is to find peace. We must separate ourselves from our human story.
Letting go of the ego, which is the human story, and moving towards the soul or higher self and identifying with your most genuine or natural inner essence is necessary to shift from a lower to a higher vibration.
